I am from AP but my mom have her certificates in karnataka now I can apply for K- CET and COMED - K

Hi Aspirant,

Following are the main eligibility criteria for KCET 2019 which includes eligibility requirements related to age, citizenship, qualifying examination, qualifying marks, domicile, subject combination, category etc.

1.Nationality:-Candidates must be a citizen of India.

2.Age criteria:-Candidates applying for KCET 2019 should not be less than 17 years of age on 31st December 2018.

Basic Academic Qualification

Eligibility criteria of KCET 2019 lists out the following requirements related to academic qualifications in order to appear for the entrance test:-

1.Qualifying Examination (QE)

Class 12 or equivalent examination (passed or appearing).

2.Institute from which QE is passed

Any government institution or institution recognized by Karnataka state government.

3.Minimum percentage of marks in QE

45%

4.Minimum percentage of marks in QE (reserved categories ST/ SC/ OBC)

40%

5.Subject combination in QE

Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects, Chemistry/ Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subject and English as language subject.



And for COMEDK



The candidates who are Indian Citizens of Karnataka origin and have studied and passed both 1st and 2nd year PUC or 11th and 12th standard examination within the State of Karnataka from an Educational Institution run or recognized by the State Government.

Either of the parents of the candidate must have studied in an educational institution of Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years.The candidates who come under this category have to produce certificates issued by the competent authority to show that they or their parent (Father / Mother) has been a resident of Karnataka State and study certificates against their claim at the time of counselling.
