In order to take admission in COEP you need a domicile certificate of Maharashtra.

You are eligible to take admission in private engineering colleges of Maharashtra through MHT CET.

It is recommended to take admission through JEE Main for private engineerig colleges of Maharashtra as they are preffered over MHT CET.
