I am from Delhi and i am also a jammu and kashmir migrant. So for admission in colleges of karnataka do i have to give KCET or COMEDK or any?
Hi
According to the rules and norms set by the Karnatake Examination Authority you are eligible for answering for KCET.
Domicile requirements
The candidates who are children of migrants of Jammu and Kashmir are required to show proof of migration which they can get from the jurisdiction District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of any state in India.
You can also write COMEDK, this exam is meant for non karnataka locals who are seeking admission into Karnataka colleges.
Hello ishaan
As in your case, you have to opt for ComedK as you're from another state and not karnataka. In KCET the seats are reserved for Karnataka students.Comedk is open for all india students but fee is little higher. One advantage in comedK is that they don't consider your boards marks and you need not to worry if your boards score is less.Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
