Dear Abhishek, first of all if you are confident on your decision then you should implement it. You will be working in a particular field for your rest of life so deciding which one to choose is crucial. Since your interest is in govt. job and not doing MBA you can quit that for preparation for govt job.

But, at this moment give yourself some time and think about it once again. Also,think about do you have any backup plan? Can MBA act as your backup? If you are ready with your answer then act on it and give your 100%.

If both these - preparation & MBA- are not managable then it's your decision which one to choose i.e. Govt job. Working anywhere without interest is just waste of time so, go with your area of interest with proper planning as you are already doing MBA.

Hello Abishek!! Getting government jobs now a days is pretty difficult one. And.. It is having a limited number of attempts and maximum age limit too.If you are pursuing MBA in a good college then don't give up in the middle do continue with MBA and prepare for government job's as well. See..  this is my opinion. Without any confusion if you are confident about interest and your aim then go for it ,government jobs provides you security, peace and money with good position.You can do MBA anytime there after and the weekend courses are also available. So.. Yah do prepare well. All the best for your bright future!!
