I am from humanities stream. I have not taken ip in 11th and 12th .so can i take computer science in college and do some courses from other institutes and then apply for job in IT sector.

Hey there!

Ofcourse you can. You can opt for a degree in BCA to pursue computer science. BCA is considered to be at par with computer engineering courses. Admission eligibility criteria includes passing 12th grade with English as a subject with an aggregate percentage of 45-55. Depending on colleges you'll either be selected on merit basis or you will have to give examinations for a particular college or university followed by an interview at times. Hope this helps.
