Hello Ritesh Kasture,

According to the guidelines issued for state-quota counselling of Karnataka, You need to fulfill the following requirements:

  • The candidate should have studied class 11th and 12th from Karnataka.
  • If your mother is a domicile of Karnataka, then you will have to undergo a separate test of Kannada language conducted by KEA. Also, your mother tongue needs to be Kannada in order to answer this exam.

So, according to your case, you can apply for admission for the 85% state-quota round but first you will have to answer and pass the Kannada language test.

Good luck and stay safe!
