Hope you are doing well . See , if you strongly want to pursue medicine and have a little bit of financial issues, I'll suggest you to prepare for NEET-2022 at home . A lot of free online resources are available online which you can use for your preparation and also you just need to invest the coming 6-7 months properly . After that if you can score decent enough to get a government MBBS or BDS seat , your expenses for studying for the next 5.5 years is going to be a lot lower than of you choose to be in a private college out of family or social pressure .
Your preperation depends on you . You have given the exam once and definitely know a bit about it ,you just need to brush up and if you can study consistently ,you'll do a lot better. From your AIR ,your NEET-2021 score appears to be somewhat around 470-480. So , in 2022 you can definitely try to achieve 600 marks in NEET . It's very much achievable and you'll also have choices of government medical colleges in your state to choose from at that score . In 2020 itself the state cutoff of Maharashtra post NEET-2020 was 572 with AIR of 34,722 for a general candidate belonging to plains and 574 for a general candidate belonging to hilly area with a closing AIR of 33,749 and the college alotted was GMC,Gondia.
From the last 2-3 years NEET question papers are framed to be very much NCERT centric and people can score well if NCERTs sore read thoroughly. Ask your parents to give you another chance if you feel confident because by doing that you'll be saving a lot of their expenses in the next five years because the fees for government medical colleges is much lower compared to private ones .
