Hi

You have not mentioned your category so I am assuming you from general category. Your profile suggests that your domicile state is Odisha.

640 is a good score

Though, It's quite difficult to male prediction as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But yes, when we go through past years cut trend then,

With 640 marks you  hold good chances to get a seat in a government medical college under Odisha state quota

for example

In neet 2018, 508 marks got an mbbs seat in Government Medical College and Hospital, Balangir under Odisha state quota

You  also have chances in  colleges like :-

  • SLN Medical College and Hospital, Koraput

  • Government Medical College and Hospital, Balasore

You can get previous year cut off at :-

After your neet 2021,

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

hi,

see neet ug exam is far more different than board exams. in board exam questions pattern is mostly descriptive type, but in neet questions are conceptual, numerical based.

you must study ins and outs to secure a good score. the total score of neet ug is 720, where biology part has the highest weightage , 90 questions.

based on previous years cutoff analysis 640 score is good to secure a government institute. every year cutoff score varies, depends with questions difficulty level, students category, number of applicants, seat matrix.

so if you can save this score even in final exam, you have fair chances for admission to government college. all government colleges of india has nearly 85% reserve for domicile candidates. remaining seats are fills by AIR counselling.

careers360 has online coaching for neet ug, it includes online lecture series, mock test, doubt solving sessions, previous years solved  papers. overall this is a complete package to boost your performance.to check the course details follow the below link:
