As you have mentioned that you have secured 1.5k rank in JEE mains but I would recommend you to kindly mention your all india rank so that I would be able to guide you in a more organized manner.
But as per the previous years trends you would definitely get a seat in it branch in iiit allahabad as most probably you will clear the cut off. As far as the nits is concerned you can hope for nits like nit allahabad, nit Calicut, nit jaipur, nit Rourkela, nit Jamshedpur, nit Silchar, nit Durgapur.
