I am from rajasthan. i want to know about admission process for other state students.
Hi
Your profile suggests that you are an engineering aspirant.
To get admission in Btech in other states, there are two ways:-
-----------) Appear in respective state entrance examination, qualify it and participate in its counseling
For example,
If you want to get admission in West Bengal, then appear in WBJEE, qualify it and then participate in wbjee counselling in which you can get a seat on the basis of your rank in wbjee. In case, of wbjee other state students are eligible only for private colleges, except for Jadhavpur university where 10% seats are open for other states.
-----------) Through JEE Main, in states accepting jee main for their state counselling.
For example,
To get admission in Delhi, you can participate in Jac Delhi counselling conducted on the basis of jee main. 15% seats are open for other students.
In case of NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, you can get admission in all the states through jee main through josaa counselling. Same is the case with IITs of any state, you can get them by josaa counselling on the basis of jee advanced rank.
