Hello Aspirant,
See it doesn't matter whether you join state board or any national board like CBSE/ISCE/NIOS because the syllabus for NEET is as same as prescribed by NCERT in the curriculum of class 11th and 12th. In whichever board you will study the syllabus is going to be same because in class 11th and 12th only NCERTs are prescribed to read. So you can join any of the board whichever suits you. It won't create any difference.

Also the NEET Eligibility criteria is mentioned below :-
** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.
** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.
** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st of the examination year, as per the current eligibility criteria.
** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and if the verdict comes in the mean time then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.
