i am from telengana board and writing kcet ..how will they convert marks from ts board for kcet consideration?
Ayushi, if you look at the eligibility criteria for KCET available at our page: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-eligibility-criteria, for being eligible for KCET, you should have fulfilled the following rules:
- You should have studied from a Recognised Institute within the State of Karnataka
- You should have studied atleast a period of 7 years starting from your 1st to PUC
- You should have either completed your 10th or 12th from Karnataka
Now there are certain other criteria for Children of Defense Personnel, Migrant Candidates of Jammu and Kashmir, Mother Tongue of the Candidates, Children of Members of the Parliament, Children of State and Government Employees. Now if you fulfil any of this criteria, then please do let us know because then the conversion is dependant on which stream you want to apply i.e. Engineering or Medical. Or else you should be appearing for COMEDK. But in general, your CGPA is multiplied by 9.5 and that gives you the percentage.
