Hello Candidate,
For getting admission through NEET and getting an government college fro a general category is quite a bit difficult task , but don't worry you can do this you have to work harder .
So, for a general category to get a government college the marks should be above 600+ and to get a very good government college you have to score 700+
Bro to be very honest for general category it is above 650 -700 or above. the margin is increasing Day by day
Hello
Going by the previous years' NEET cutoff students should aim to score 550+ marks in the NEET examination to get seat in government medical colleges through state quota and for admission through the All India Quota, aim should be 600+ marks in the exam and to get a seat in top medical colleges of the country through AIQ, aim for 650+ marks in the NEET exam.
For admission to government medical colleges, there are two types of seats: 15% All India Quota seats and 85% State quota seats.
Cutoff required for admission varies category wise, state wise, college wise depending on many factors. Some of the factors determining the cutoff are:

Kindly mention your home state and the college name (if you are targeting any particular college) so we can provide you the cutoff details accordingly.

how much marks obtained for goverment seat in mbbs for general caste 2020
Hello Aspirant,
The required percentile for the General category in NEET 2020 is the 50th percentile, whereas for SC/ST/PBC it is 40th. You should know that the cutoff is not fixed and fluctuate due to several factors such as how many candidates appeared for the exam, what is the difficulty level of exam and the total seats that are available.
Last year, NEET cutoff for BDS was lowered by 10.00 percentile, making it the 40th percentile for general category candidates. While for reserved categories, the cut off for NEET was decreased to the 30th percentile.
To get a seat in any government college under General i.e Unreserved category, the candidate has to score at least more than 500 marks in NEET MBBS result. To get a more thorough knowledge on this topic, you can visit the link mentioned below.

Goodluck.
Hospital this helps.
Look we can't predict the exact marks as cutoff for general category or even the te reserved Category for this year because each year the cutoff marks don't remain the same it varies every moment every year you just can get a rough idea by looking at the previous year cutoff by the way you didn't mention your state too so I can't tell you any number because cutoff rank for each state varies and so I can't say anything exact but I would like to recommend you to check the cutoff of your state and then instead of look at cutoff give 100% efforts for the exam till the exam date.
For general category, you will need a score of 500 to get a decent medical college. Recommended score for safety should be 550.
As per your query about marks cutoff, you must be knowing that there is All India Quota 15 % and State government quota 85%...
Cut off by All India quota is always higher than state quota..Further in both the quota the SEAT is further divided as per category like Open, SC , OBC , ST, etc..It will vary for each groupThe Cutoff also vary in Government, Private and Deemed UniversityAlso difffer college to college even in government /private/deeemedThe marks vary each year based on the difficulty level of the paper
BUT GOING BY PREVIOUS YEAR TREND FOR GENRAL CATEGORY A MBBS SEAT is obtained around 480 - 650 marks range..
