Selection for second stage of NTSE 2019 will depend on the NTSE 2019 Cutoff of Tamil Nadu. Cutoff will be released along with the result.

You can go through the link below and check the previous year cutoff for reference. However, it should be noted that this year cutoff is expected to show much change due to change in the exam pattern.

Last 2 years cutoff was 120 and 127 marks in General category and hence anything above it will have excellent chances of conversion with stage 2 NTSE in TamilNadu.

162 is decent enough for conversion.
