I am getting 175 in mathematics in NDA/NA II 2021 Previous year question paper and 300+ in GAT. I am from General category and Commerce stream. Is there any chance of me getting selected if I give the examination?

At first I would want to mention that caste or category does not matter in NDA at all also if you are from commerce background you are only eligible for Indian army and not Air force, Navy. If we talk about last year's cutoffs, it was around 343 marks with at least 25% in each section. So by the scenario you have mentioned you will definitely clear the round one of NDA examination with ease. Also try to get the the same marks as you are getting in mocks by not considering the actual cutoffs because it will definitely help you in later rounds.

It is quite nice that you are able to perform well in these mock tests, but I should let you know that to appear for NDA/NA Examination you need to fulfil certain Eligibility criteria.

-------- There are certain eligibility criteria that one has to fulfil to be able to write the National defence academy/Naval Academy or NDA/NA examination.

• Academic wise eligibility criteria is-

• Candidates must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

------- Most of the time age is the deciding factor for eligibility. Now the age wise eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age.

Also for the NDA 2022 examination the DOB of the candidates for the two attempts is as following-

• NDA -1, 2022

DOB Between - 2nd July 2003 to 1st July , 2006

• NDA - 2, 2022

DOB Between- 2nd January , 2004, to 1st January , 2007

--------- Since you don't fulfil the academic wise eligibility criteria, you won't be able to appear for the NDA / NA Examination.
