Hello Mukul,
JEE main is a highly prestigious exam and is for getting admission to NIT and GFTI, as well as gives you a chance to get into IIT, by allowing you to give JEE Advance. The cut-off varies year to year, and since from this year NTA, is conducting the exam, so the expectation is the cut-off will be probably high, as the government has asked them to prepare a question paper of comparatively easy level. Coming to your question...
As you said you got 20 questions correct, therefore your marks will be around=80-12=68. Considering your marks are above 62, according to me you will surely qualify JEE main. Don't be so anxious rather prepare well for your upcoming tests

You may refer to this link, as seen here the average cut-off has remained around 50 for SC category.
Therefore you will surely qualify for JEE main. But most probably you will not get a good NIT through these marks, although it depends on percentile and cut-offs for this year.
You may refer to this college and rank predictor links: to get a fair idea about which colleges and rank you may get. This predictor shows results based on previous data.

Hi Mukul!
JEE Advanced 2019 cutoff for various IIT's will differ for different courses offered and different categories. The admission authority uses various components while preparing the cutoff list such as the total number of candidates applying, the total number of applications received availability of seat and previous year cutoff trends. The JEE Advanced 2019 cutoff ranks are not yet available, but the minimum percentage of marks prescribed for inclusion in the rank list 2019 are as follows:
Category MIN. percentage of marks in each subject MIN.percentage of aggregate marks
So, If you are meeting the above criteria, then you will definitely qualify for JEE Advanced in the SC category.

Hello,
Your qualification in JEE will solely depend on the cutoff of this year. Since the cut off always changes from year to year, it is difficult to say whether you will qualify for the exam or not.
As seen last year, the cutoff for SC/ST was 29 which shows brighter chances of you to qualify for JEE Adavnced. If this year too, the cut off is around 30-40, you will surely qualify.
hope this helps.
