204 is overall good score.

But your rank will depend upon the percentile score and percentile score is relative score depend upon the number of students who score more than you and total number of students .

So it will depend upon the exam difficulty level and preparation of the other students also.

But you can take assumption and you will get rank around 11- 20 thousand ( vary depending upon exact situations) and with this rank yes you will get NIT ; branch and place may vary .

So see the previous year cut offs for specific college and branch in which you want to go.

Definately you will get any of the NITs .According to your marks i.e 204 you will lie in the range of 95%ile-97%ile and your rank will be within 20k.

In that case you can get your choice stream as well.
