Comparing to MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, and BVSc, BSc Nursing course is less competitive and you can get admission in government colleges itself. Also many states are conducting respective entrance exams separately for nursing. Wait for government colleges and government aided colleges.
Hello,
Let me start by telling you that NEET will only be used as a criterion for admission to a limited number of government medical institutions offering BSc nursing programmes. The majority of these are universities and colleges in Delhi and neighbouring cities.
Therefore, to find out if NEET is necessary or not, look at the brochure of the medical institutions where you wish to enroll.
The cutoff for an MBBS seat will be around 50 points lower in terms of scoring. Most students who prepare for NEET opt not to enrol in nursing programmes since they are attempting to get a spot in an MBBS programme. In addition, as only female applicants are admitted to AIIMS institutions, gender is another important criterion. Thus, if the MBBS cutoff is 625, the overall cutoff will be between 575 and 595. Between these is where BAMS, BHMS, etc. cutoffs are located.
Good Luck!!
