Yes, I believe being from SC Category, securing 398/720 in NEET, you have somewhat moderate chances to secure a seat in some of the Good Government or State Medical Colleges in Karnataka. However, besides this, you should also apply for the COMEDK Medical Counselling through NEET Score, as you have main Good Private Medical Colleges in Bengaluru accepting through COMEDK Medical Counselling, and you have strong chances.

Hello aspirant

You have very good chances that you will grab a medical College in Karnataka through the state counselling in your category.

As Karnataka cut off ranks/marks go low due to High number of medical college in the state. Student under all india rank 1.7-1.8 lakh easily get govt college there. If you don't get govt college, for sure you will grab a govt seat in private medical colleges in Karnataka.

Hello Aspirant,

See on such marks and category you have some chances of getting some medical colleges in Karnataka under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges with such score :-

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore

Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore

M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore

Khwaja Bande Nawaz Institute Of Medical Sciences, Gulbarga

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

NEET 2021 Cutoff Karnataka (2020, 2019, 2018, 2017): College-wise & Category-wise (careers360.com)

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-
