NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
I am from up and got 515 Mark in neet 2019 is there chance of getting medical college in up by ex servicemen quota then please share the procedure of the same
First of all congratulations that you are expecting 500 marks in NEET UG.
The admission within the ex- serviceman qouta also depends on the priority of the applicant. There are a total of six priorities of the Indian army. A ward of an ex service man comes under the priority 6. The cutoff under priority six goes high as compared to other priorities.
According to last year's cutoff 501 was the least marks in NEET UG 2018 that was given a MBBS seat under priority six (open category) , that too was given in mop- up round at the last.
500 is a good score but I think that it'll fall a little short in getting you a MBBS seat in haryana under esm (general)(priority six) category.
Or if you are applicable to other priorities than you can get a seat.
I am giving you the descriptions of different priorities:-
1) Priority 1- widows/ wards of defence personal killed in action
2) Priority 2- Wards of disabled in action and boarded
out from service.
3) Priority 3- Widows/ Wards of Defense personnel
who died while in service with death attributable to
military service
4) Priority 4- Wards of disabled in service and
boarded out with disability attributable to military
service.
5) Priority 5- Wards of Ex-servicemen who are in
receipt of Gallantry Awards.
6) Priority 6- Wards of Ex-Servicemen
