If you don't have a domicile of Karnataka, then you will have to register as an outside state student through KEA website. Now, as per previous year the cut off for first round was a rank of 13396 for private open seats in Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences. Based on this, you have little to no chance of getting a seat here.

If you have a domicile of Karnataka, then you will have to register as state student along with your domicile category, through KEA website.
