HI KOMAL,

According to your marks,Hopefully your rank is in range of 20k-23k.As your Home State is Odisha so you will get a advantage for NIT Rourkela.But as per my knowledge,you wont get your choiced stream in NIT Rourkela but itf college is a matter for you then surely you will get NIT Rourkela but stream is not guaranteed.

You can get other NITs like NIT Agartala,Jamshedpur,Ropar,Silchar etc etc in your your own choiced streams.

Among these NITs i would personally suggest you to go for NIT Jamshedpur as it has new infrastructure and good equipments and as it is an industrial area so placements are also good and according to your rank you wouls get your choiced stream also

Dear Aspirants/Guardians

Cutoff mark cannot be predicted exactly because it depends upon various factors. Score varies almost every year and differs from one branch to another.It may be vary depending on question paper and cutoff rank. And of course, you will get some advantage for being home state quota and of yours category.

You can go through the below-provided link of Careers360 where you can find predicted cutoff score by various institutes and check previous year cutoff for various NITs.

dear aspirant;

It depends on your branch preferences.

For getting into 5 top nit with any branch, for a safe side you need to get 150+ but to get a preferred branch 200–250 would get you a good branch moving above with your marks.

thank you.
