I am getting approx 38,000 rank in AP EAMCET will I keep for counselling if yes how to opt colleges while counselling to get into good college?? I am from open category.

Since you scored a decent rank in Eamcet, it completely your choice whether to appear for counseling or try for a better rank in next year.

For choice filling during councelling, it is better to manually make a list like which colleges are you targeting for and for which group etc. Mainly discuss with your relatives or teachers for choice filling they help a lot.

once you make a list of colleges ,give your options first for the colleges which you prefer the most then the next and so on.
