I am giving JEE from West Bengal but by SC certificate is signed by SDO of Assam. In JOSAA fromat its written that sign should be of SDO of the area where candidate and/or his family normally resides but my SDO sign is not from officer of my area. Will it be accepted in JOSAA & IIT/NITs?

HEY,

If you want to avail the state quota, then your category certificates should be signed by the respective state SDO. Otherwise it is fine if you have sc category certificate of one particular state. You are eligible to appear in josaa counselling and the exam if your certificate is correct and is in the same order as asked. For more details you can visit the link.

Hope that helps.

Thank you very much! If by chance they dont accept my certificate, will they give me time to correct my certificate? Or straight away reject it?
