Dear Aspirant,

So we assume that you want to be a Veterinary Doctor, because you talked of animals and not human beings. Having assumed this, please understand if you really must overcome your phobia as to treat them you have to interact with them and also animals will sense a non-confident person  and can become agitated. So with animals it is important to show confidence and adore as they respond to both immediately.  No serious injury is going to happen as during your college days you will have many people around to assist including your Professors.

So the first thing you need to do is to stop worrying over an event that is yet to happen. Stay in the present and slowly build your confidence by dealing with the animals that are around you. Learn to touch them and talk to them, this is how you build confidence.  Learn to adore them. If you still feel you cannot overcome you fears then we suggest you talk to a counselor, someone with a Masters in Psychology.
