Having completed both a 10+2 regular education and a 3-year polytechnic diploma, and then joining a B.Tech program through lateral entry into the 2nd year, can be viewed positively or neutrally by employers, depending on how you present your qualifications.
Skills and Knowledge : The practical skills and knowledge gained from your polytechnic diploma will enhance your technical expertise, which can be advantageous during placements and interviews. Emphasize how your diploma has prepared you with hands-on experience and problem-solving skills.
Academic Path : Employers typically focus on your current qualifications and your ability to perform in the role. Your B.Tech degree will be the primary focus, and the fact that you have a polytechnic diploma will add value by demonstrating a solid technical foundation.
Presentation : Clearly articulate the value of your dual educational background. Highlight how both experiences have contributed to your overall competence in your field.
Relevance : Ensure that you emphasize how both educational experiences align with the job role you’re applying for.
Overall, the combination of both degrees can be a unique strength if communicated effectively during placements and interviews.
hope this helps you!!
Hello aspirant
It's amazing you have obtained both degrees after class x.
Yes you are correct both degrees can't go together . You can get admisdion to b tech Course on the basis of any one of the two courses .
If you wish to get a lateral entry directly to the second year then you will be selected on thd basis of diploma in engineering Course, you will have to submit marksheet of diploma course not 10+2 .
If you will try with regular 10+ 2 marksheet then you will get addmission to the first year of b tech .
So it's your choice how you will be going .
