I am going to join first year in amrita Laptop allowed for first year students. I only have gaming laptop it's allowed or i have to buy students laptop

See as per the official website, there are no such restrictions regarding the laptop specifics. So you can take any laptop which is available.
Now when you are considering a laptop then you should consider a good processor, i5 or i7 processor and SSD must be available along with graphics card. Now most of this specifics are available in gaming laptops. So the laptop will obviously be helpful.
