Hi there!!!

As you are now in 11th class and studying in Hyderabad ,I would suggest you to take admission in cbse board as it will be easy for you to tackle the syllabus and get 75% marks in the cbse board examination and simultaneously you can prepare jee mains and jee advanced and you can do well there...

Hope you got your answer,do upvote the answer if it helped you!!!

Best of luck for your Future Endeavours!!!

Hello Abhigna,

If you going for Jee then it's better to go with CBSE because 75 % marks is the only criteria for appearing in jee...Marks didn't matter for Admission in NIT.

CBSE Course will be easy to get above 75% marks.

So, My Suggestion is that You will Join CBSE schools but attendance is main problem in CBSE. so take care of it

Hey,

I think CBSE board will be more preferred if you are aiming for engineering as it will help you more in preparing for jee mains exam as CBSE prepares it.

Thank you.

It depends upon syllabus. Since CBSE is the one that organizes JEE exams, so of course syllabus taught in CBSE will be exactly what you need for JEE. However, if state board is offering same syllabus, then there shouldn't be any problem in that either.

Good luck.

Hello Abhigna. Thanks for contacting Careers360 and we hope we will be able to answer your query.

As I don't know the syllabus of your Hyderabad state board, I may not satisfy you fully. But, I still provide to you the syllabus for JEE Mains:

Plaese see which topics of class 11 are covered in this. If you have all the class 11 topics, then you may very well go for your state board. But, if some topics are not there, then you should go for CBSE. Note that the JEE Mains syllabus is drawn from the NCERT / CBSE topics of class 11 and 12.

Also, please see here:

Hope this helps you and all the best!
