I am good at making sketches. Do I have high chances of cracking NID DAT in first attempt?

Having good sketching ability will be an added advantage of course, but there are other parameters too on which you will be evaluated for admission to NID. You will have to qualify Prelims first after which you will be allowed to sit for Mains.

Have a look at their components below:

DAT (prelims) primarily evaluates each candidate on the following abilities:

1) Analysis
2) Creativity
3) Knowledge
4) Visualisation
5) Comprehension

NID DAT Mains may consist of tests in different formats such as:

1) Drawing/sketching
2) Hands-on model making
3) Group discussions
4) Presentations

So, you have to be good in all these apart from sketching as well.
