I am having ST category certificate of uttrakhand and center both and my domicile is UP but ST category certificate is of Uttrakhand will I get benefit of St category while taking admission in HBTU

Hi,

Yes you are eligible for admission into HBTU with your domicile certificate. ST certificate is required just to prove that you fulfill the quota for reservation. It doesn't matter from which state it is produced. So don't worry about it. All you need to have the original documents at the time of admission.

sir but HBTU is a state university and in the HBTU brochure it is mentioned that you need to be ST UTTAR PRADESH ....
sir pleasee clarify what does that mean please sir....
do you know anyone who is having the benefit of category reservation but is from another state than UP

Ayush Chauhan See if your central caste is ST, then there won't be any problem whatever it is mentioned in the brochure.
