Here are the steps that would be necessary for you to get admission at IIT :



1) First of all you have to score good marks in 10th std , so it would be easy for you to get admission in good college plus good IIT classes . The best classes like IIT PACE ,  Akash IIT etc : the better tools and knowledge you will het for entrance exam preparation.



2) After your 10th std , you should take science stream as it is compulsory if you want to join IIT . On the other hand join a good classes like i mentioned above.  They will give you complete guidance and knowledge about JEE mains and advanced  .You have to give JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED  for IIT  .



3) SCORE GOOD MARKS IN 12TH STD PCM ( PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND MATHS) plus score good marks in JEE MAINS .



4) There will be a cut off for JEE ADVANCED , if your marks are above the cut off in JEE MAINS  , there you are eligible to give JEE ADVANCED.  Then give JEE ADVANCED and clear with good marks also in it.



5) The eligibility for IIT is to be in top 20 percentile in JEE MAINS and advanced  ot score 75 % above in Pcm 12th std.



6) If you score good marks in JEE ADVANCED , then you will be eligible for IIT admission.  If you are name is in merit list , you will get admission in IIT'S .



The chase is long though but the outcome will be the best for you if you pass engineering from IIT.

this is very nice you have set your at this very initial point . it will going to help you a lot . first of all it is better to join some god coaching institute at initial stage , which will help you in training your brain . however join any coaching only if you can afford ,you can also look out some leass costly coaching that will be also good . next step , your real prepareation starts in your class 11th ,for now you have to focus on your sitting time . try to study atleast 4 hours daily and make it as a habit . and for further steps you can surely ask me . feel free to discuss in the comments below .
