I am in 12th standard and I am interested in merchant navy but I have weak eyesight my eye vision is (- 4.5) and I wear spectacles. So I heard from so many peoples that I am not eligible for merchant navy because of my eye sight So plz tell me it is truth or how can join merchant navy.

Hey Aspirant,
As per the eligibility for joining merchant navy you should be completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed.
