Most of the colleges have criteria for first year students to change their branch in second year, but for that you have to fill the upgradation form while admission. And it's not the case that just by filling the form you will bee applicable for upgradation to different branch.

For this you have to score high percentage in first year so that college can consider you for upgradation.

So if you are thinking for upgradation, work hard in first year..
