Gate exam is of 100 marks out of which 15 marks are for General aptitude and 85 marks are for subject course. so, if you give a little attention to aptitude then 15 marks are almost free. and to prepare for other 85 marks you can go throufgh some of the books, such as :
- Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications by Kenneth Rosen
- Digital Electronics by S. Salivahanan & S. Arivazhagan
- The C Programming language by Dennis Richie
- An Introduction to Formal Languages and Automata by Peter Linz
