I am in a dilemma. i got chance in St Xaviers Kolkata Bsc Maths.. It is not just one of the top college in kolkata but in India, But i was more interested in doing Btech from a good private as it wud guarantee a job after 4 years. what should i do? pls help

Hi

Degree and institute is important but its only second to your academic performance eventually. Job is guaranteed if your CV looks impressive. Pick up the course according to your interest both are similiar courses with different depth.

Sounaq You are welcome. If you were iimplying BTech in mathematics and computing then it is a very interesting course with additional computer science in the syllabus if you like the combination of programming and maths go for it. BSc maths is good too if its from one of the top colleges in India. Being among top they would have good campus placements.
