There is no specific code for candidates in the 2nd year of B.Sc. hence you can write the qualifying code as 5 which is for candidates who are in the 1st year.
CODE 5:
Candidates who studying in the first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognized University with PCB (that includes practical tests in the given subjects) provided the examination is a University Examination. The candidate also passed their earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.
Code 6 is for candidates who have already completed their B.Sc course hence you can't write that as you are only in 2nd year now.
CODE 6:
Students who have passed their B.Sc. Examination from an Indian University with not less than two of the given subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology. They have also qualified their earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
Hence, your qualifying code should be 5.
