Hello, Sandeep!
Yes, final year students can also sit for the UPSC prelims exam. ... The passing of the said final year exam should render the candidates eligible for the UPSC civil services exam, i.e., it should be a graduation-level degree from a recognized university. It can also be a professional or technical degree.
All the best!
Hope this helps!
Hello Sandeep,
I am glad to inform you that since you are in final year of your B.Tech, you can still answer the UPSC Civil Examination. Basically, the minimum eligibility criteria states that the candidate must hold a degree from a government recognized University, but if you are in final year or are awaiting for the results, you can anyway apply for the exam. But, make sure you have a proof during the main IAS exam that you have passed and graduated successfully.
Hi Sandeep!
The up-and-comer must hold a PASS BACHELOR'S certificate from any of the Universities joined by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other instructive organizations set up by an Act of Parliament or proclaimed to be regarded as a University, under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or have a comparable capability. You are a final year student of B.Tech yes you are eligible to write the exam.
Hope this helps.
All the best!
