Hi there,

Central board of secondary education offers students of class 10th two versions of mathematics basic and standard. This step is taken by government in order to give relief students who find it a hard subject.

For changing basic maths into standard maths  , students need to pass exam of standard mathematics in compartment exam of maths conducted by cbse. Students become eligible to study standard mathematics in higher classes after passing standard mathematics in compartment examination.

But according to my information there is no process of changing basic mathematics to standard mathematics in term 2 . You can change it for higher classes.

Hope it helps you

Good luck!
