Hello dear student,
UPSC is the biggest examination of India and syllabus is really vast so from 11th only you have to start preparing and analyzing your weaknesses ( the subjects which are part of syllabus but you are least interested in) . The first and foremost step you have to take is start reading newspapers. It is very very important. Also, reading newspaper does not mean that you just read some interesting headlines of newspaper. NO! You've to be smart while reading newspaper and should read it in UPSC point of view. Stay aware with the political news in India.
Second important tip is make the habit of preparing notes. Whatever subject you've chosen, study via making notes. It will help you for your maiins examination which is subjective type.
You don't need to be a bookworm .Just focus on your subjects of 11th standard with studying little bit of general knowledge regularly so that you get updated with all the important topics.
This is all you've to do from now. Stay focused. Stay motivated. Not everybody knows everything so never get demotivated whenever you feel that you are not aware of something . All the very best for your future !!
