I am in class 11 should I start to study for CA from now?
This course has three stages, first stage is Common Proficiency Test. Candidates can register for CPT after 10th board exam but they can only appear after giving 10+2 board exams. CPT is an objective examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India in June and December every year.
This exam has questions from Fundamentals of Accountancy, Economics, Mercantile law and aptitude. If you are commerce stream candidate, then there is no need to join any coaching, you can easily crack this level of CA if you study your subjects in 10+2 well. For non commerce stream candidates, coaching is necessary for better preparation.
If you are so much interested than yes you should start from now onwards and work in a way that your get selected in first attempt only.
All the Best
Thankyou
.
if you are very much interested in CA then start preparation at this point.because it is one of the toughest exam.
Most of students get confused that whether they give both the groups or one group at a time.
Preparation tips:-
- Better dont go for discussing with friends or taking advise from others/ candidates who were not willing to work hard for this exam.
- Remember you and you only are the best judge.
- Complete the syllabus which will match the subject you studying it will be easy for you to study.
Thank you!!!
Hello Bhavin,
In the 11th grade - Just keep your basics clear about subjects like Accounts,Statistics,Mathematics and Economics.
In the 12th grade-You are required to put more emphasis on certain subjects namely Accounts,Economics(Micro+Macro) and Mathematics(Calculus). If you do have time to spare ,you can go through the basics of Indian Contract Act.Lastly do not forget about the Class 12th exams and devote time accordingly.
After you are done with class 12th exams, you have 3 months before your CPT exam (give or take a week). You just need to plan a routine for those 3 months and you will get through.
You need keep working on your basics with Accounts , Quantitative Ability , Economics for now .
Hope this helped you
All the best
Thank you
