This year Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore will be accepting JEE Main score for admitting students into its B.Tech Program. I believe securing anything around 35k, will ensure you a seat in CSE at VIT Vellore under Category 1 Admissions. Since securing above 35k, enables you to take admission in respectful and good branches in most of the NITs and the GFTIs like PEC Chandigarh and BIT Mesra.
For a rank of 35k, I believe you need to secure around 97 percentile and you must work for that. 97 percentile converts roughly to 135/300 which must ne your preliminary target. As far as board exams are concerned you need to secure atleast 60% in Boards to get yourself admitted in VIT Vellore.

Vit is going to admit students on the basis of jee mains for first time in the year 2021, therefore we do not have the previous year's cut off to predict the cut offs of the coming years. But you need to score atleast 60% in your boards examination to be eligible for admission in VIT.
