Then you need to prepare for the prelims and mains which is based on history, ethinics, English , social studies, geography and Civic. There are various handbooks and preparatory books available in Market. Start preparing from your first year at college and all the best.

It is perfect time for you to start study for UPSC CSE. First, you should aware of syllabus and pattern of UPSC CSE. You can download the syllabus from official UPSC Website. CSE Has three phase 1-Pre, 2- Mains, 3- Personal Interview. CSE generally consists of general studies like Economics, History, Geography, Ethics, Sociology, Essay. You have enough time to study these subjects thoroughly.

First, we want to advice you that you should get enrolled in graduation courses in which stream like you most. Then aftr start preparation for it by reading daily newspapers, starting study of general knowledge/science, and NCERT book from class 6 to 12 of history, political science, geography, economics and science. You will be allowed to give UPSC after completing your graduation so that you should take admission in any graduation  first.
