I am in class 12,can I now start preparing for CLAT 2020... Or is it too late.

The idea of yours is great. You may take coaching from now but to get eligible for CLAT you have to score atleast 50% marks in your 12 board. So first of all concentrate in your 12 board exams. Manage your time for both cases.
