Chandigarh University is near to the city beautiful ,which is famous for top notch companies .Hence you might be getting more exposure in your domain companies through internship programs organized by the university every semester. Among them , LPU is way better . Their are many parameters , whether it is infrastructure , security , facilities , academics and the backbone of LPU i.e placements , lpu is better in all respects . One reason for that may be is that lpu is established relatively earlier than CU . Though , these for profit universities are not the best in the best in the university and you are likely to face their for profit policies while being in the university.
