Hello.
It is said that the NEXT exam will be conducted in two parts- PART 1 and PART 2. Where PART 1 will be more theory-based, PART 2 will judge your clinical aspects. Therefore, to ace the exam, you must be thorough with both.
1. From the 2nd year itself, do not rote learn. Instead, try to focus on gaining in-depth knowledge and have good clinical exposure. Do not miss any clinical postings. You can also use Marrow and Prepladder for online guidance as they have experienced faculty as well as test series.
2. Practice previous year MCQs to help you familiarise yourself with topics and to know which concepts you lack knowledge in.
3. Try studying in groups to engage yourself as well as others in studying, which will also keep you motivated.
4. Revise and re revise. Everything you study from Day 1 will be counted in your syllabus and anything can come in the exam. You do not want to forget the important topics and hence, take some time out, maybe an hour, to revise all that you've learned the previous week or year.
5. Believe in yourself!
