I am in std. 11 and my optional subjest is hindi .so is it necessary to take computer as optional subject to pursue for computer science

No, not at all. You can choose cse whether you had Computer Science in 12th or not.

But everything depends on your field interest.If you have studied cs in 12th then definitely it is going to help you and if not then also there is not problem as after 12th if you start to study cse from start and with interest,you can excel it. But you should have interest in coding. Because in cse you just can't rely on theoretical knowledge, you have to be practical at the same time.

Hi aspirant,

The Basic eligible criteria for pursuing computer science engineering is that you need to complete class 11 and 12 with non medical field that is physics, vhemistry and maths and score a minimum 50% in same. Rest two subjects can vary its not compulsion to keep computer for doing computer science hope you are clear with it.
