I am in UG 4th sem B.B.A. I am not able to find my interest what to do whether LAW MBA or any GOVT. EXAM. After UG. Should I go for career
Hey,
I understand your confusion and don't get overwhelmed by it, every student goes through this phase once in their life.
I really can't answer which path you should go with because that decision is solely yours but I can guide you with all the possible options you have then next thing you need to do is evaluate all those options keeping yourself in mind.
Options are as follows:
- MBA: Despite of you have clearly stating in the question about how you feel about writing CAT exam, I would still suggest you to go for it. Also, there are lots and lots of private colleges that you can get into, so don't worry about that. Just figure out whether you want to pursue MBA or not.
- Bank PO or Indian Railways: Government jobs doesn't hurt anybody. You can prepare for these exams and give them a shot too.
- Entrepreneur: If you want to do business of your own, then you can dive into the saga of becoming entrepreneur. All it needs is a brilliant idea and who knows you can be next Mark Zuckerberg.
- Hotel Management: If you want to choose this path down your career line, then you also have its gate wide open. You can do post-graduation in hotel management.
- Law: You can opt for LLB course after graduating from BBA. But the question you need to ask yourself is are u able to see yourself as a lawyer after 10 years??
But if you need time to figure out what to pursue then I would suggest you to pick a job after graduation and then use that oppportunity to solve all your doubts.
If you have any further queries feel free to ask and I will be happy to answer
I wish you all the very best and good luck!
Hello
Its okay to be totally confused regarding your career options.
The three options that you have specified are totally different.
Law is a very good option after BBA provided from where you have done it and whether you have good analyzing and remembering skills. In law you can go in corporate or practice in court.
For law CLAT exam is there. Some college have their own exams
For MBA you need to first see:
- Do you have any management skills?
- Do you have any business plan?
- Do you want to go in some specific field like HR,Finance,Marketing etc
For MBA you need to clear CAT exam and various other rounds like Group discussion, personal interview and your graduation score will also be taken into consideration
Some college have their own entrance exams
Now coming forward to various Governmnet exams
there are many government exams like banking,PO,IAS,IPS
they have their own entrance exams and they all are different in their own.
so i would first suggest decide what you want to do or want to be then go for any of these
all the best.
Just believe in yourself first.
You should go for counselling .
As you are doing BBA and you are in semister 4 you should start preparing for CAT . This is a good combination. After MBA degree you can also startup your own business. You can go for Mba in finance or marketing .You will be able to get good rank and a good college , just start preparing yourself for the entrances . Moreover the packages after MBA are quite decent . So just believe in yourself you have time and just start preparing for CAT.
Hello Aspirant,
It is totaaly okay to be confused at the stage in which your are in. So I would suggest just eliminate the though that you being an average student wont be able to score good in CAT and then figure out in which field you are insterested in. Well the options which you have mentioned above and about which you are thinking all of them are good. Law is definitely a good option after your BBA because you will be able to corporate law well after the course you are persuing.
So the basic suggestion I would like to give would be go for the course which interest you.
Hope this answers your question. Good Luck.
