In order to Obtain BAMS degree you will have to first Enroll in BAMS courses provided by Various Government and Private Colleges in India. and in order to to take admission in BAMS you have to first Apply for its entrance exam NEET UG.
Some basic BAMS eligibility criteria are mentioned below .

Candidates are required to pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with science subjects ( Physics , Chemistry and Biology ) and English core in both Class 11 and 12 from a recognised board.

He/she should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission.
An aspirant from the general category needs to secure an aggregate of 50% in their Class 12 Board examination. While, for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying percentage is 40%
Candidates need to have qualified NEET by securing a minimum qualifying cutoff percentile to get admission in BAMS course, which can be checked in the table below.
For foreign students, any other equivalent qualification approved by the University will be allowed.
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) is a graduate degree course in Ayurvedic system. This degree is awarded after the completion of 5 years and 6 month degree programme containing the 4 and 1/2 year academic session and one year internship programme with live practical.

Bachelor of Ayurveda Medical and surgery generally a 5 year undergraduate program which offers an integrated course and into which you will be having study of wide range of subjects of traditional Ayurveda and modern Medical Systems.
Minimum educational qualification required is you must have completed your intermediate degree and passed it with 50% to 60% which may varies from college to college with science background having subjects physics, chemistry and Biology.
BAMS admissions are basically done on the basis of entrance examinations. The candidate who want to get admitted for this course have to appear for the entrance examination of NEET UG. After that the results will be out and the conducting authorities of the examination will publish merit list. Thereafter counselling process is started and the candidates who make it in the counselling process gets allocated the seats for the course at different colleges according to their merit.

To be eligible for neet one must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category.
