As you clearly mentioned that your favourite hobby is to design. Then i absolutely strongly recommend you to follow your hobby because your hobbies never cheats you. Its great that you want to choose the stream you are intrested in.
Both of your choices are great but as you need to select any one, i will suggest you to go with the one you are more famalier with or say you have more experience.
It will be more benificial if you have prior knowledge as you will always be ahead of your peer mates which directly will affect your chances of being selected in any interview.
Just make sure to do your work sincierly and always be loyal towards your work and i believe you will come up with flying colors.
