MCA is a 3 years post graduation program which is usually preferred after completing the BCA. In order to be eligible for MCA, candidate must have completed their BCA or BSc or BCom or a similar stream and should have scored at least 50% marks in the Undergraduate level. Also, some colleges consider the students which have mathematics in 12th class (not mandatory for all colleges).
